Description
As a ServiceNow Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and executing ServiceNow projects and initiatives for clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop innovative solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform. What You'll Do
As a ServiceNow Custom Application Developer, you'll be a key driver in transforming client requirements into robust, functional ServiceNow applications.
Your responsibilities will include
Lead the full lifecycle of custom application development on the ServiceNow platform, from initial concept and requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and deployment. Architect, develop, and configure highly customized ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, reports, and integrations that extend beyond standard module functionalities. Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to deeply understand their specific business needs and translate them into technical specifications for custom solutions. Serve as a subject matter expert for custom application development within ServiceNow, advising on best practices, platform capabilities, and innovative approaches to complex problems. Design and implement sophisticated integrations between ServiceNow and various external systems and technologies, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation. Provide technical leadership and guidance on custom application projects, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with architectural standards. Conduct product demonstrations and educate stakeholders on the functionality and value of custom ServiceNow applications. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules for custom application initiatives. Clearly communicate project status, risks, and issues to clients and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. 5+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, with a significant focus on architecture, design, and development of custom (scoped) applications. 2+ years of experience developing and managing complex integrations with ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using various protocols and technologies. In-depth technical knowledge of integration protocols and technologies, including REST APIs, SOAP APIs, JDBC, LDAP, and others. Proven expertise with multiple ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, CSM, Service Portal, Service Catalog, with a strong emphasis on Custom (Scoped) Application Development. Demonstrated experience leading successful ServiceNow custom application implementations from inception to completion. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to develop creative and effective solutions to complex technical challenges. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with other integration toolsets such as Workato, Apptus, or Snaplogic is a significant plus. Experience with Performance Analytics is a plus.
