Position Summary JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Delivery Engineer II to support the implementation and maintenance of critical network infrastructure. This role will be responsible for deploying and managing network systems, supporting upgrades, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance and security. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in network infrastructure, a commitment to high-quality delivery, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Network Deployment and Implementation Install, configure, and support network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. Manage and execute network deployment projects, ensuring that installations meet company standards, performance, and security requirements. Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, procedures, and best practices. Project Collaboration Work closely with cross-functional teams (Infrastructure Engineers, Information Security, and Local Operations Staff) to understand project requirements and contribute to successful project delivery. Coordinate with external vendors and stakeholders to ensure proper equipment delivery, system integrations, and troubleshooting support. Collaborate with M&A teams to assess the network infrastructure of target companies during due diligence. Develop integration plans for merging network environments, addressing potential conflicts and ensuring seamless operations. System Monitoring and Troubleshooting Provide level 2 support for issues related to latency, bandwidth, and connectivity. Troubleshoot complex network issues and support root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Identify potential network vulnerabilities and security risks during M&A due diligence. Implement security measures to protect the merged network infrastructure. continuous improvement. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in network engineering, with proven experience in network infrastructure deployment and support. Certifications: Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ preferred. Technical Skills Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, 802.1x). Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking hardware. Familiarity with Infrastructure tools (SolarWinds, Netbox, etc.) and scripting for automation (Python, PowerShell). Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communicator, and ability to work well in team-oriented environments. Additional Requirements Availability for on-call rotations and occasional after-hours work for maintenance or emergency troubleshooting. Ability to lift and install network equipment, as needed, on location. Ability to travel (20%).
