Software Developer (Full Stack)

The Role:

You will be developing and maintaining software that powers our internal business operations, from front end applications used by staff to backend APIs and services. The ability to work with large and complex relational databases is a core requirement. You will be responsible for unit testing your code and partaking in peer code reviews.

This is a great opportunity for someone with .NET software development experience in C# and web development technologies such as Angular. You will be working within a supportive team in an agile development methodology. You will be given project ownership and be actively involved throughout the development cycle, from initial wireframing to final deployment. Career progression paths include Senior Developer, Solution Architect, Project Manager, DevOps and Data Science roles.

:

•                    Must have 3+ years’ experience in software development

•                    Very strong skills in .NET development in C#

•                    Experience in web development (ideally Angular), JavaScript and TypeScript

•                    Excellent communication skills

•                    Strong analytical, problem solving and issue resolution skills

•                    Team player with a view to exercise independent decision making once experienced

•                    Hands-on, dependable, quality-conscious and result driven

•                    Flexible and able to adapt to new ideas with a can-do attitude

•                    Able to plan successfully

Technical experience expected in:

•                    Services: C#, ASP.NET Core API

•                    Data: MSSQL Server, TSQL

•                    Web: Development with frameworks and technologies such as Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Kendo UI

•                    Tooling: Bitbucket, Git, TeamCity CI, Octopus Deploy, JIRA Issue Tracking or similar products
