Job Description

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – Ruby on Rails + React

Experience: 5-7+ Years

Type: Remote

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned software engineer with 7+ years of experience, ideally with expertise in Ruby on Rails and modern frontend technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Agile activities including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Design and develop scalable backend services and frontend components
  • Write clean, tested, and maintainable code with a strong emphasis on Test-Driven Development
  • Review peer code and offer constructive feedback
  • Troubleshoot system issues using alerts, logs, and monitoring tools
  • Contribute to internal tools and documentation to support cross-functional teams
  • Promote and uphold coding standards and software engineering best practices

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Experience in TDD, object-oriented design, and Git-based workflows
  • Ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced, Agile team environment
