Designation : Senior Software Engineer

Experience in Years : 4 to 7 years

Job Location : Chennai (Hybrid)

Skills - Required:

• Front-End: Proficiency in Angular; any other JavaScript experience would be a plus.
• Back-End: Strong hands-on experience in Java/Python, Microservices architecture, and API design & integration.
• Experience building scalable, high-performance systems.
• Solid understanding of database design; exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments, scripting, and associated tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience designing system architecture for complex solutions.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and experience with tools like Git.
• Self-starter with a strong drive to learn and mentor.
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and services like BigQuery, DataProc, Dataflow is a big plus.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, modify, and maintain applications in the Global Markets environment.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs, while also supporting activities for the corporate systems architecture.
• Partner with business teams to define requirements for system applications.
• Create clear and comprehensive technical specifications and documentation.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of current development tools, languages, and frameworks.
• Supervise and mentor a small team of associates, providing coaching and performance management input.
• Stay up to date on new technology trends and research best practices to achieve optimal results.
• Perform additional technical duties as required
