Job Title: Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) Job Type: Full-Time Job Category: Technology, Analytics & Digital Banking Department: New Age > Information Technology > Engineering > CX & Digital Channels Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India Additional Parameters Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and testing Strong knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks Experience in testing digital banking applications is preferred Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Job Summary As a Senior SDET at IDFC FIRST Bank, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our digital banking applications. You will work closely with the engineering and product teams to identify and resolve any issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Key Responsibilities Design and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks Execute and maintain automated test suites for digital banking applications Identify and report defects and work with the engineering team to resolve them Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software Continuously improve and optimize the testing process and tools Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and testing Strong knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, etc. Experience in testing digital banking applications is preferred Good understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with a dynamic and inclusive work environment.
