Job Description

The Senior Psychologist is responsible for providing advanced clinical psychological services—including assessment, intervention, and therapeutic support—to adults, adolescents, and families, as well as offering supervision to junior psychologists and contributing to the development of best practices in mental healthcare. This role serves as a leadership position within the clinical team at Humming Minds Life, ensuring quality psychological care and adherence to evidence-based standards.


Responsibilities -

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based treatments for individuals, couples, and groups.
  • Develop, review, and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Supervise and mentor junior psychologists, trainees, and other allied clinical staff.
  • Serve as the lead resource for complex clinical cases.
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
  • Facilitate clinical supervision meetings and continuing education for the team.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions and collaborative care planning.
  • Oversee quality assurance, including regular case audits and ensuring all documentation meets ethical and legal standards.
  • Offer consultation to families and collaborate with referring physicians, schools, and organizations as appropriate.
  • Develop and deliver psychoeducational workshops, mental health awareness programs, and staff training initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of new research, guidelines, and interventions in psychology; contribute to service development and innovation.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional standards at all times.



Qualifications -

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (PhD/PsyD/MPhil).
  • Valid license/registration as per RCI guidelines or equivalent statutory authority.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience, preferably including experience in both adolescent and adult mental health services.
  • Prior experience in supervision/mentoring or leadership roles in clinical settings.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualities

  • Experience with training and program development.
  • Exposure to digital/telepsychology and hybrid care models.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and across cultures and languages
