Job Summary:

Dlyft India LLP is looking for a highly experienced Senior Production Manager who will initially take on the dual role of managing production and sourcing/purchasing operations. The ideal candidate must possess deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, raw materials, powder coating, cycle times, and be an expert in gym equipment production.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

·       Lead and oversee the entire production floor operations.

·       Ensure adherence to daily/weekly/monthly production targets.

·       Monitor and improve production cycle times, workflow, and productivity.

·       Coordinate with design, QC, and dispatch teams for smooth execution.

·       Ensure proper usage and maintenance of all plant machinery.

·       Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices.

Purchase & Sourcing (Initial Phase):

·       Identify and source quality raw materials and components (MS pipes, PU, plates, cables, bearings, fasteners, etc.).

·       Develop vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and timelines.

·       Ensure timely procurement and inventory control.

·       Maintain cost-effective procurement practices without compromising quality.

·       Create and implement sourcing strategies to optimize material flow.

Technical & Quality Responsibilities:

·       Monitor product quality and ensure all equipment meets design and durability standards.

·       Coordinate with powder coating vendors and manage surface finishing quality.

·       Maintain quality standards across all departments and stages.

·       Address and resolve any production or material bottlenecks.

Team Management & Reporting:

·       Lead and manage production supervisors, operators, and technicians.

·       Train team members in SOPs, safety, and best practices.

·       Maintain detailed production reports and present regular updates to management.

Key Requirements:

6+ years of hands-on experience in gym equipment or heavy machinery
