Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Engineer to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all MEP works for our multi-storied building construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership qualities, and practical site experience to ensure timely and quality delivery of MEP systems in line with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review MEP designs, BOQs, and technical drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.

· Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders for MEP integration in overall design.

· Supervise MEP subcontractors to ensure execution as per approved shop drawings and technical specifications.

· Plan, schedule, and monitor MEP activities, ensuring alignment with the overall construction timeline.

· Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

· Ensure timely procurement and delivery of MEP materials in coordination with the procurement team.

· Validate MEP equipment specifications, testing, commissioning, and final handover.

· Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and QA/QC documentation.

· Liaise with consultants, clients, and local authorities for inspections and approvals.

· Lead troubleshooting efforts during MEP system installations or defects.

· Provide technical input during value engineering exercises.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or relevant discipline).

· 5–7 years of proven experience in MEP execution for multi-storied building projects.

· Experience in both residential and commercial high-rise construction is preferred.

· Strong understanding of local codes, NBC, IS standards, and international practices.

Key Skills:

· MEP systems design and execution (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.)

· Project management and coordination

· AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project, and related tools

· Knowledge of green building norms and energy-efficient systems

· Site management and team leadership

· Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

· Knowledge of safety, QA/QC practices, and statutory compliance

Additional Preferences:

· Certification in PMP or equivalent project management methodologies (preferred but not mandatory)

· Familiarity with BIM-based coordination

· Hands-on experience in testing & commissioning of MEP systems

Project Manager / Construction Head
