Job Summary The AEC Associates is seeking motivated individuals to join our organization who possess strong CAD and Revit skills. Senior Engineers should have 8-15 years of experience in architectural and engineering services, primarily responsible for the production of construction documents and participate in the final QA/QC process. Senior MEP Engineer will be responsible to oversee the planning, design, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across high-profile construction projects. Essential Duties/ Role and Responsibilities · BIM Modeling: · Primarily responsible for development of 3D MEP Models using Revit for the production of As-Builts, Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documentation/ Detail Drawing Sets. · Coordinating with other members of the Project Team to ensure completeness and accuracy of the model. · Quality Assurance · Adhere to the internal and client’s quality processes while producing and delivering CAD/BIM models, drawings, and documents with limited oversight. · Team Working: · Working in conjunction with Intermediate/ Senior Intermediate/ Senior Architects/ Engineers/ Project Managers/ Project Leaders. · Self-management of assigned tasks for efficient, error-free, and timely deliveries. · Expertise: · Basic knowledge of International Building Construction Systems prevalent in US and ME regions. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities · Lead the design, review, and coordination of MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, etc.). · Proficiency Basic understanding of AutoCAD and Revit. · Architectural and Engineering design documentation background preferred with basic knowledge of general design documentation standards, practices and procedures. · Know-how to prepare Electrical services (e.g. ELV, LV, Lighting) CD set / detail drawings and as built drawings. · Know-how to prepare single line diagram and equipment layouts. · Run 3D Design coordination of ASMEP components using Autodesk Revit/ Navisworks and similar tools. · Basic understanding of the architectural and engineering design process both in the office and on site. · Ability to employ creative and innovative thought processes. · Good written and spoken English is required. Preferred Education and Experience · Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or any other specialization in engineering disciplines is preferred with a minimum 8-15 years of experience in AEC industry with matching work experience. · Autodesk Revit, Revit MEP, Navisworks, HVAC Design tools, Civil 3D, Energy Analysis Tools · Experience in design and documentation of Architectural and Engineering projects - New construction and renovation. · Well versed with production of MEP CD set drawings and 2D MEP Coordination drawings · Creating Revit based 3D family and 2D Detail Components using CAD and Revit Show more Show less
