About the Role
This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role designed for a marketer who excels at both building and executing. As the first marketer focused on the India market, you ll develop and execute the full marketing plan across ABM, field events, digital campaigns, and channel programs to generate and influence pipeline. Youll partner closely with local Sales, Channel, and Business Development teams to drive demand, accelerate deal cycles, and support customer expansion.
At the same time, you ll be the solid-line matrix manager for a new India-based pod of marketers aligned to global functional teams such as Campaigns, Digital, and Marketing Operations. While these individuals will have a global and APJ remit rather than India specific, you ll lead their hiring, coaching, development, and cultural integration ensuring they re set up for success and embedded in a high-performing, inclusive local team environment.
Driving growth in India

Develop and execute the end-to-end marketing plan for India, aligned to pipeline and revenue goals spanning Account Based Marketing (ABM), field programs, digital campaigns, channel marketing, and customer engagement

Act as the primary marketing partner to the India Sales, Channel, and Business Development teams, driving demand generation, accelerating deal progression, and supporting customer expansion initiatives

Localize and adapt global campaign assets and programs to reflect India s unique market dynamics, buyer behaviors, and competitive context ensuring messaging relevance and campaign performance

Influence global and regional marketing stakeholders to secure alignment, resourcing, and integration of India-specific initiatives into broader planning cycles

Track, analyze, and optimize performance across the full funnel surfacing insights to inform marketing investment and sales alignment

Lead the global marketing pod, based in India

Provide day-to-day management, coaching, and performance development for a new team of India-based marketers aligned to global functions (e.g. Campaigns, Digital, Marketing Ops, SEO)

Operate within a matrixed structure serve as the solid-line manager - owning responsibilities such as hiring, onboarding, 1:1s, performance reviews etc

Ensure alignment to operate effectively within a matrix: partner with global functional leaders who set strategic direction, ensuring clarity of goals, coordinated feedback loops, and balanced priorities

Create a cohesive, high-performance team culture within the pod, despite differences in functional alignment and project focus championing inclusion, accountability, and collaboration

Work closely with the India Country Manager to support the scaling of India as a strategic global marketing hub, contributing to org design, onboarding, and cross-functional connectivity
The skills you ll bring include:

8+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a strong track record of delivering results from demand generation, ABM, field, and channel marketing - ideally for SaaS, cybersecurity, or tech organisations

Experience operating in a matrixed organization comfortably navigating dual reporting lines, aligning across time zones, and collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups

Strategic thinker with strong hands-on execution skills: Proven ability to manage being both an individual contributor, and team leader in a high-growth environment

Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing marketing teams, including managing direct reports and supporting career growth in a global organisation

Proficient in key CRM, marketing automation and ABM technologies( eg Salesforce, Marketo, 6Sense)

Exceptional organisational and project management skills are essential - simultaneously managing multiple projects, campaigns, stakeholders and deliverables to track against goals..

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functionally and build trust across regions and levels.

Experience with PR and local media agencies to support building our brand awareness would be desirable
