Job Opening: Senior Accountant

Location: Koregaon Park, Pune

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead our general accounting operations. This position plays a crucial role in managing financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and supporting key business decisions through robust financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, in-depth knowledge of accounting standards, and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes
• Ensure compliance with taxation laws, regulatory frameworks, and internal controls
• Recommend and implement process improvements and automation tools to enhance accounting operations
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial health of the business

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance. CA Inter or CA Final preferred
• 8–12 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior capacity
• Salary – 6LPA to 9LPA
• Strong command over accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance
• Proficient in accounting tools such as Tally, Teknik Software, SAP, or similar ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience in financial modeling
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently or within a team
