Search Engine Optimization Executive

You will be responsible for executing a comprehensive SEO strategy with measurable goals, including traffic growth, keyword ranking improvements, and conversion optimization.

Responsibilities

1.⁠ ⁠Technical & On-Page SEO

Conduct full technical SEO audits (site speed, mobile optimization, indexing, crawlability)

Optimize meta tags, headings, alt attributes, URLs, and internal linking structures

Improve Core Web Vitals using tools like PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix

Manage XML sitemap, robots.txt, and structured data (schema.org for products, reviews, FAQ, etc.)

2.⁠ ⁠Content Optimization

Work with copywriters to ensure SEO-friendly product pages and informational content

Conduct keyword research and gap analysis

Create content briefs for blog articles and web pages based on long-tail keyword strategy

Ensure all content aligns with brand tone and SEO best practices

3.⁠ ⁠Off-Page SEO & Link Building

Build quality backlinks through outreach, directories, and partnerships (no PBNs or spam)

Identify relevant backlink opportunities in fashion, lifestyle, and ethical product sectors

Monitor backlinks and perform toxic link cleanups when necessary

4.⁠ ⁠Analytics & Reporting

Set up and manage Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console

Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, bounce rate, CTR, and conversions

Deliver monthly SEO performance reports using Looker Studio, Excel, or similar tools

Requirements

2 to 4 years of proven SEO experience (technical, content, and link building)

Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Ubersuggest

Comfortable using GA4 and Google Search Console for reporting and analysis

Experience optimizing Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is preferred

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain quality across tasks

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Experience working with international clients

Understanding of European search intent and market

Ability to collaborate with content teams in other languages
