Travel Sales Job Title: Travel Sales Location: Thiruvananthapuram Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Sales Manager or Travel Agency Manager Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Travel Sales Employee to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling travel products and services to clients, including flights, accommodations, tours, and travel insurance. Your goal is to understand clients’ needs and preferences, provide expert recommendations, and close sales while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:Sales & Customer Service Identify customer needs and recommend suitable travel packages and services Convert inquiries into bookings through effective communication and persuasive sales techniques Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals Travel Planning & Coordination Research destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities to create personalized travel itineraries Handle all aspects of travel arrangements, including bookings, confirmations, and follow-ups Stay updated on travel trends, visa requirements, and safety regulations Administrative Duties Process payments, issue invoices, and manage booking records using internal systems Maintain accurate documentation for each client and ensure compliance with company policies Team Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with the marketing and customer service teams to meet sales goals Provide regular feedback and reporting on sales performance and customer trends Requirements:Proven experience in travel sales, tourism, or a related field (1–3 years preferred) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Sales-driven with a passion for travel and customer service Proficiency with booking software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and CRM systems Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if needed Preferred Qualifications:Certification in travel or tourism (e.g., IATA, TICO) Knowledge of multiple destinations and languages is an asset Let me know if you'd like a version tailored to a specific industry (e.g., luxury travel, corporate travel, cruises, etc.).
