Regional Sales Manager – Franchise Stores

Industry: Garment / Apparel

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead our franchise store operations in the assigned region. The RSM will be responsible for driving sales, leading a team, expanding market presence, and ensuring consistent brand representation across franchise stores. A strong understanding of fashion trends, distribution strategy, and exceptional leadership and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:1. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Store Managers, and front-line sales teams across franchise stores.
  • Set sales targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Conduct regular training, performance reviews, and on-ground support visits.

2. Franchise Store Sales & Operations

  • Drive sales growth and profitability across all franchise outlets.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, VM standards, and customer service protocols.
  • Support franchise partners in store operations, promotions, and local market activations.

3. Distribution & Supply Coordination

  • Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure timely product availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and manage replenishment cycles across stores.

4. Market Expansion & Business Development

  • Identify potential markets and partners for new franchise store openings.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and coordinate with the expansion team for new launches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees to ensure long-term collaboration.

5. Product & Trend Expertise

  • Stay updated with fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Share market insights with the merchandising and design teams for regional assortments.
  • Recommend seasonal strategies and VM themes based on regional demand.

6. Communication & Negotiation

  • Act as the key liaison between franchise partners and the corporate team.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, support agreements, and sales strategies with franchisees.
  • Present monthly business reviews and strategy reports to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Management or related field.
  • 8–12 years of experience in sales, preferably in the garment/apparel/retail industry.
  • Proven track record in handling franchise or multi-store retail operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of fashion products, consumer trends, and regional market dynamics.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and CRM tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
