About the role

Factory Planning Capability Owner role plays pivotal within supply chain process by assessing respective processes for opportunities for continuous improvement and standardisation, and taking the ownership for the Factory Planning process area within supply chain planning, providing both process and tech best practice. Factory Planning capability owner is responsible for the capability build/upskilling of planners within the region of their responsibility.

Your responsibilities

  • Factory Planning Capability Owner is the driving force behind optimizing planning processes within the factories. Is responsible for Standard Operating Procedures creation, sign off and deployment across the region of responsibilty.
  • Drives continuously to enhance planning performance metrics, from production compliance to on-time delivery.
  • Serves as a bridge between process expertise and technological implementation, maximizing the benefits of recent technology investments. Factory Planning Capability Owner’s accountabilities span process leadership, capability building, efficient planning, troubleshooting, and minor system configuration.
  • Collaborates with factory planners, supply chain teams, and technology experts to drive excellence in production & materials planning, assesses current process maturity level in each location and prepares plans on how to bring the maturity level to the maximum possible efficiency and compliance to the global standards.
  • Collaborate with Connected Planning, Production planners, and Operations Teams to ensure smooth processes
  • Collaborate closely with factory planners to provide guidance, training, and troubleshoot issues
  • Align on SOPs for the Factory Planning Area with Senior Leadership and establishing strategic priority for the FP community
  • Work with IT and system experts to configure and optimize demand planning tools

The experience we're looking for


  • With 6+ years of relevant experience and in-depth knowledge of E2E planning processes.
  • Practical experience in production and supply planning & Factory Planning within the FMCG industry.
  • Project management skills.
  • Understanding of Kinaxis Rapid Response / IBP is a plus.
