R&D/New Product Development - Beverage

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior R&D Executive to support our product innovation and formulation activities. The candidate will assist in developing new beverage recipes, conducting trials, ensuring documentation, and supporting scale-up in production.

Key Responsibilities:

● Assist in the formulation and development of new beverages including functional drinks, kombucha, iced teas, and probiotic products

● Conduct lab trials, ingredient testing, and maintain accurate documentation

● Support senior R&D personnel in pilot-scale and commercial batch trials

● Help evaluate stability, taste, sensory profile, and shelf-life of products

● Maintain hygienic lab practices and ensure compliance with FSSAI and internal standards

● Coordinate with procurement for samples and ingredient data sheets

● Record trial observations and prepare reports for internal evaluation

● Work closely with the QA/QC and production teams during new product development

● Stay updated with industry trends and new ingredients

Skills Required:

● Basic understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and beverage formulation

● Familiarity with lab equipment and food safety protocols

● Good documentation and observation skills

● Willingness to learn and take initiative

● Basic knowledge of FSSAI labeling and compliance is a plus

● Strong communication and coordination abilities
