R&D manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically sound R&D and NPD (New Product Development) Engineer to join our innovation team. The candidate will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and launching new capacitor products, as well as improving existing ones based on market and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support new product development projects from concept to production
• Conduct market and technical feasibility analysis for new capacitor designs
• Design and develop prototype capacitors and test them under various conditions
• Prepare detailed documentation, test plans, and validation reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, and Sales
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, technologies, and competitors
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• B. Tech / M. Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant engineering discipline
• 3–8 years of experience in capacitor manufacturing or similar R&D/NPD roles
• Hands-on experience with product development lifecycle and lab testing

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of capacitor types, materials, and testing procedures
• Familiarity with design tools, lab instruments, and simulation software
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CorelDRAW
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication and project management skills
