Job Title: Quality Engineer
We are looking for a passionate UI Automation Tester with hands-on experience in Selenium using JavaScript / java to join our Quality Assurance team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate should be highly detail-oriented, proactive, and have strong knowledge in both manual and automated testing practices.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential risks.
• Develop and maintain automated UI test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with JavaScript (preferably with frameworks like WebDriverIO, Nightwatch.js, or similar).
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand new features and create robust test plans.
• Create, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases (manual + automated).
• Perform regression testing and verify bug fixes.
• Own and drive the end-to-end Software Test Life Cycle (STLC), ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, determine root causes, and drive resolution.
• Maintain automation test suites and integrate with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Ensure test coverage for web and mobile platforms (Android & iOS).
• Report bugs using defect tracking tools such as JIRA and follow through resolution.
• Continuously improve test efficiency and coverage by identifying gaps and implementing best practices.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in UI automation testing with Selenium and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types (black box, white box), and best practices.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as WebDriverIO, Nightwatch.js, Protractor, or Playwright.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and DOM structure for effective UI testing.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, XML/JSON formats, and tools like Postman is a plus.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries to validate backend data.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into build systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile automation tools like Appium is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and keen to learn new technologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
