Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Chemist located in Thane. The Quality Control Chemist will be responsible for conducting quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. The role involves using laboratory equipment and analytical techniques to perform tests, calibrating equipment, maintaining detailed records of testing results, and collaborating with production and R&D teams to address any quality issues. The Chemist will ensure that all laboratory activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Quality Control and Analytical Skills Laboratory Skills and Laboratory Equipment usage Experience in Calibration of laboratory instruments Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Experience in the chemical industry is a plus Responsibilities Ensure timely testing and follow adequate lab processes as required Document and report the test results in pre-defined formats Calibration of Lab instruments, Sample analysis by Instrumental (such as HPLC, UV, Karl fisher titration) and non-instrumental (titration, TLC) Timely testing of RM, FM, PM as per set method considering all safety norms. Documentation of all activities as per GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) norms and maintaining quality systems as per NICHEM policy. Theoretical / practical knowledge of various chromatographic techniques and method validation. Execution of daily work, to ensure timely delivery. Overall upkeep of the lab and audit preparations. Skills required Basic operation of computer, Email, PPT presentation preparation, scanning of documents. Knowledge of carrying out testing processes as per specified criteria (Chemistry knowledge). Knowledge of documentation. Qualification: B.Sc. Chemistry from Mumbai / Pune University Required Experience : 2 years
