About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Chemist to join our team at our bottling facility in Tupudana, Ranchi. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products throughout the entire production process, from raw materials to finished goods. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Conduct sensory evaluation to assess quality parameters. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including but not limited to spectrophotometers, chromatographs (GC/HPLC), pH meters, and density meters. Document and interpret analytical results accurately and thoroughly, maintaining detailed records. Identify and report any non-conformances or deviations from quality standards. Assist in the investigation of quality-related issues and implementation of corrective actions. Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory working environment. Qualifications: B.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized university. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a quality control laboratory, preferably within the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles and laboratory techniques. Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting common laboratory instruments. Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of relevant quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP) is a plus. Preference will be given to local candidates from Ranchi and the surrounding districts.
