Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Instrumentation Inspector to oversee and ensure the quality and functionality of instrumentation systems in compliance with industry standards and project requirements. The Instrumentation Inspector plays a vital role in maintaining system integrity, identifying defects, and ensuring that all instrumentation components meet prescribed specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual and functional inspections of instrumentation systems to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor the installation, calibration, and maintenance processes of instrumentation systems and devices.
  • Verify and review the specifications, drawings, and technical manuals of instruments for accuracy and conformance.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of instrumentation components, including sensors, transmitters, controllers, and indicators.
  • Ensure proper configuration, alignment, and calibration of instruments as per design specifications.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
  • Identify and document non-conformities or defects and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to resolve instrumentation-related issues.
  • Oversee the implementation of safety protocols and quality assurance processes for instrumentation systems.
  • Conduct audits to ensure adherence to established standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to personnel on the use and maintenance of instrumentation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations during inspection and testing activities.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Certification in instrumentation or relevant technical fields (e.g., ISA Certification or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in instrumentation inspection or related roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of instrumentation systems, devices, and standards such as IEC, ANSI, and ISA.
  • Knowledge in Quality System Standards.
  • Proficiency in using testing and calibration tools for instrumentation systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with safety practices and quality assurance protocols.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or in challenging environments as needed.
