Job Description

Position: QA Tester (Manual + Automation)

📍 Location: Indore (On-site)

🕑 Experience: Minimum 1 year


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications with a primary focus on manual testing.
  • Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, and compatibility testing to ensure software quality across browsers and devices.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and convert them into detailed test scenarios.
  • Use tools like BrowserStack to validate cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
  • Log, track, and verify defects using JIRA or similar bug tracking systems.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of basic automated test scripts using Selenium and other tools as needed.
  • Conduct smoke testing, exploratory testing, and UAT to ensure product readiness.
  • Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups to align testing efforts with development cycles.
  • Maintain detailed and well-structured documentation of test results and testing processes.


Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in QA with a strong foundation in manual testing; basic exposure to automation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Working knowledge of cross-browser and mobile testing tools like BrowserStack.
  • Familiarity with Selenium and basic automation scripting.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
