QA Game Tester

Position: QA Game Tester

Experience: 3+ years

Major Skill Set: Game Testing, Unity, Mobile or desktop testing, CCG (Preferred)

Shift Timings: 9 PM IST onwards

Location: Permanent WFH

About the Role

We are looking for a Game QA Tester with a strong background in Unity 3D engine, CCG (Collectible Card Games)

You will work closely with game designers, developers, and product managers to ensure the highest quality and stability of gameplay experience across platforms.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

•            Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for Unity-based games, especially CCG titles.

•             Perform manual and exploratory testing on Android, iOS, and web game builds.

•             Validate gameplay mechanics, card interactions, animation flow, UI/UX responsiveness, and audio.

•             Report and track bugs via JIRA or similar systems, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.

•             Conduct regression testing on new builds and patches.

•             Collaborate with developers to understand design and functional requirements.

•             Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and QA sign-off reviews.

•             Provide feedback on gameplay balance, usability, and performance.

✅ Required Skills & Experience

•             3+ years of game testing experience, preferably in CCG or card-based game genres.

•             Strong expertise in testing Unity 3D games (build validation, assets, performance).

•             Proficient with mobile testing on Android and iOS (real devices + emulators).

•             Good understanding of web game testing, browser compatibility, and responsive behavior.

•             Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect reporting tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

•             Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).

•             Familiarity with game performance monitoring, logs, and crash reports.

•             Excellent communication and documentation skills.

•             Comfortable working in US time zones.

Nice to Have

•             Experience with automated testing tools for Unity or mobile.

•             Familiarity with build pipelines (CI/CD tools like Jenkins).

•             Experience with Playtesting, user feedback, or A/B testing in games.

•             Passion for CCG games (e.g., Hearthstone, Marvel's Snap, Legends of Runeterra, MTG Arena).
