Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Procurement:

Source and procure raw materials like steel, aluminum, welding rods, paints, and other consumables required for fabrication.

Ensure materials meet the quality and specification standards of the company.

• Vendor Management:

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with reliable suppliers and subcontractors.

Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and regularly review vendor performance.

• Cost Management:

Conduct market research to determine competitive pricing and control procurement costs.

Prepare cost analysis and reports for budget planning.

• Inventory Control:

Collaborate with inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.

Ensure timely replenishment of materials to avoid production delays.

• Negotiation & Contracts:

Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.

Ensure compliance with legal and company standards in agreements.

• Quality Assurance:

Coordinate with the quality control team to verify the quality of purchased goods.

Address and resolve quality issues with suppliers promptly.

• Logistics Coordination:

Plan and monitor the transportation and delivery of purchased goods.

Resolve logistics and delivery issues effectively.

• Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier agreements, and invoices.

Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and legal regulations.

• Collaboration:

Work closely with production, planning, and engineering teams to understand procurement needs.

Provide feedback on material availability and delivery schedules.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree ,Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of procurement experience in the fabrication or manufacturing sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally Prime Gold, MS Office Suite, and inventory management tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,826.92 - ₹47,215.26 per month
