Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Proposal Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in proposal making, bid management, and cost estimation. The ideal candidate will support the Business Development, Design & Marketing team by preparing technical and commercial proposals, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely submission of high-quality bids that align with client requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze client inquiries, RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and finance teams to gather necessary inputs for proposals.
• Develop cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
• Draft BOQs, pricing sheets, and proposal documentation as per client requirements.
• Support the sales and BD team with pre-bid queries, client clarifications, and technical presentations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, technical standards, and client specifications.
• Maintain a repository of past proposals and cost data for future reference and benchmarking.
• Assist in creating marketing and design collateral when required, in coordination with the design team.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or equivalent).
• 1–3 years of experience in proposal engineering, bid preparation, or cost estimation.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); familiarity with AutoCAD or estimation software is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Good understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and commercial terms.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines.
• Team player with attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
