Job Description

As a Project Manager at Hitachi Energy, you will be responsible for managing projects end to end with a focus on quality of delivery and process efficiency. Your role will involve tracking and controlling project timelines, resource allocation, identifying and mitigating risks, and being accountable for communication management. Additionally, you will be developing and managing strategic solutions for process improvements and back-office support for standard operations. You will work directly with the India HR Delivery lead to drive initiatives/projects across HR Ops Service lines and collaborate with SEA & MEA Fos in HR Ops to drive standardization, streamlining, and automation initiatives. Your responsibilities will also include working with extended leadership and other key stakeholders in managing service delivery, capacity management, and key performance metrics. Leading kick-off meetings for large/complex assignments and global projects to ensure a comprehensive understanding of client/stakeholder requirements will be part of your role. You will also work with the India HR delivery lead on strategies to achieve defined business objectives/targets, including determining control standards and identifying issue escalation matrix. In addition to stakeholder management and running initiatives/projects across India (BGL) Center, you will focus on enhancing technical and personnel effectiveness through training, education, and coaching. Implementing various quality, technology, automation, and standardization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and ongoing PMO tasks will also be key aspects of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's/Post Graduate degree with 8-10+ years of work experience, hands-on experience in project management, proficiency in data analysis, and project management of multiple projects. Effective stakeholder management, understanding of consulting solutions, risk and escalation management, and reporting of operational metrics are also required skills. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point, PowerBI, and the ability to apply technology tools to provide unique solutions are essential. You should be adept at improving technology and its application, working effectively with project teams, and maintaining colleague data. Excellent communication, listening, planning, analytical, and critical thinking skills are crucial, along with problem-solving, decision-making, and adaptability. In-depth knowledge of project management practices and proficiency in spoken and written English language are necessary for this role.
