Production Supervisor

Job Title: Production Supervisor – Pesticide Manufacturing

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our pesticide manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising production activities, ensuring quality and safety standards, and generating accurate packing and production reports on a daily and monthly basis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the shop floor to meet targets.
• Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure efficiency and compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and resources effectively.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of:
• Daily Production Reports
• Daily and Monthly Packing Reports
• Monthly Production Summaries
• Use Excel tools to maintain logs, analyze production data, and generate performance metrics.
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements for production processes.
• Maintain documentation for production records as per company and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Train and mentor production staff as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in a chemical or pesticide manufacturing industry.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data analysis).
• Good knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Factory/plant-based role with exposure to chemicals and machinery.
• Must adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• May involve shift work or extended hours during peak production periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
