Role Overview

Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire production cycle from sampling to final dispatch
• Coordinate with vendors, karigars, and internal teams to meet quality and delivery timelines
• Manage inventory of raw materials and ensure timely procurement
• Implement and maintain quality control checks across production stages
• Work closely with the design team to translate concepts into technically viable products
• Optimize workflows, manage costs, and troubleshoot production issues proactively
• Maintain production documentation, schedules, and reporting systems
• Optimum utilisation of available resources to ensure cost optimisation and savings.
• Establish and implement quality assurance and control processes and standards as per the industry's best practices.
• Complete ownership of Production to ensure delivery of quality output within a defined timeline.
• Guiding & close Monitoring in cutting, Printing, Embroidery, Stitching, Finishing, & Packing.
• Supervise day-to-day production processes in the factory. (Cutting, Printing, Embroidery, Stitching, Finishing, and Packing)

Requirements

• 5–6 years of production experience in fashion or textile industry is mandatory.
• Must have experience in handling the overall operations of a production unit.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, dyeing, embroidery, and finishing techniques
• Excellent vendor and team management skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to adapt and work under tight timelines without compromising on quality
• Familiarity with Women’s Ethnic Wear is a plus.
