About the Role:

We are seeking a highly proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive with hands-on experience in the leather goods manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate must have deep familiarity with procurement processes, product development coordination, vendor management, and pricing strategies within this domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle procurement activities related to embroidery, digital printing, laser work, and weaving for leather goods.
• Collaborate closely with merchandisers to download buyer requirements and specifications.
• Accurately interpret and understand buyer artwork and design expectations.
• Communicate buyer expectations clearly to vendors, ensuring product alignment.
• Provide regular updates to merchandisers on procurement progress and vendor feedback.
• Continuously identify and develop new vendors to ensure variety, innovation, and supply chain efficiency.
• Scout for new trends, techniques, and materials in the market to maintain a competitive edge.
• Ensure competitive pricing from vendors in line with management’s targets and project budgets.
• Track and coordinate vendor payments in collaboration with finance and accounts teams.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in procurement within the leather goods manufacturing industry is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of embellishment techniques like embroidery, digital printing, laser cutting, and weaving.
• Ability to interpret and manage technical artwork files and buyer specifications.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively between vendors and internal teams.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under tight timelines and pricing pressures.
• Familiarity with supply chain documentation, timelines, and costing structures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management / Fashion Technology / Business or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in the leather/fashion accessories industry.
