Job Objective: To design, develop, test, and commission industrial automation systems using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA platforms, with a focus on Delta, Siemens, and Allen Bradley systems, aligning with Torqmotion’s client deliverables and project goals. Key Responsibilities: PLC Programming & Commissioning: Develop and troubleshoot PLC logic (Delta, Siemens, AB, etc.). Program HMI interfaces (Delta DOPSoft, Siemens WinCC, etc.). Commission PLC-based control systems on shop floor and client sites. Integrate sensors (Fotek, Sick, etc.) and motion controllers (Leadshine, Delta, Yaskawa). Electrical Panel Support: Collaborate with panel design and fabrication teams. Provide I/O mapping, electrical schematics review, and cable routing diagrams. Ensure compliance with safety and wiring standards. Field Support & Service: Visit client sites for installation, testing, and breakdown support. Document service visits and generate technical service reports. Documentation & SOPs: Prepare BOM, panel GA drawings (if trained). Develop user manuals and SOPs for control systems. Maintain version control for program backups and updates. Team Coordination: Support internal teams and trainees during training sessions. Liaise with sales and project management teams for feasibility checks. Key Skills Required: Strong hands-on experience in PLC programming (especially Delta DVP series). HMI design and integration experience. Good understanding of industrial electrical standards. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. Knowledge of VFDs, servo systems, SMPS, and SCADA is a plus. Willingness to travel for on-site support. Qualifications & Experience:Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation. 1–2 years of relevant hands-on PLC experience. Fresher with strong WPLSoft / DOPSoft skills can also be considered for junior role or trainee position.
