• Network Design and Implementation:Creating network architectures based on organizational needs, including LANs, WANs, and cloud-based networks.
• Network Management:Configuring, installing, and maintaining network equipment like routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Security Management:Implementing and maintaining security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs to protect the network from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Performance Monitoring:Monitoring network performance, identifying bottlenecks, and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal system availability and reliability.
• Troubleshooting:Diagnosing and resolving network problems, including hardware and software issues.
• Maintenance and Upgrades:Performing regular maintenance tasks, such as software patching, network upgrades, and hardware replacements.
• Documentation:Maintaining up-to-date documentation of network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaboration:Working with other IT professionals, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth network operations and support.
