Job Purpose Provide network configuration and administration as a member of the network team. Responsible for implementation and support of network devices. Responsible for on-call support for operations of managed customer networks. Essential Functions Routing/switching/security - The configuration, support, and troubleshooting of customer environments (50%) Load balancing/Wireless - Supporting existing customers and the escalation point for Tier I questions and issues (20%) Network Management - Write, and maintain systems documentation and network diagrams, develop procedures and guidelines for implementation and management of network administration and network capacity analysis (15%) On-call support for the above (15%) Experience 3 to 5 years of work experience Education Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Certifications Licenses CCNP recommended F5 certifications a plus Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Cisco is the focus but F5, Fortinet, Meraki, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto, are all devices in scope Experience with BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP / ISPs or large corporate LAN/WANs Experience with Nexus and IOS configurations MPLS VPN and VRF design and configuration Site-to-site VPNs along with client VPNs IPv4 and IPv6 subnetting / troubleshooting LAN/WAN technologies including STP, QOS, NAT, SNMP, multicast, etc. Securing networks with ASAs and IOS devices Cisco Firepower IPS configuration and troubleshooting Troubleshoot complex networks to identify root cause issue Linux experience a plus Experience with packet capture programs -- Wireshark Communication / Customer skills Cross-training other team members to broaden the knowledge base within the team Interested candidates with short notice share your resume @ geetha.jeyabalan@cbts.com Thanks, Geetha Senior Technical Recruiter CBTS
