MEP Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination:

• Review and finalize MEP design concepts in coordination with architects, consultants, and technical teams.
• Evaluate MEP drawings and coordinate with structural and architectural designs.
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of MEP activities across project phases.
• Periodic site visit to resolve the MEP related issues & Pre FLS support.
• Leading and controlling of MEP design & planning activity of all Hospitality projects.

Execution Management:

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, ELV, BMS, and other allied systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and contractors for timely execution and problem resolution.

Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure all MEP installations comply with statutory requirements and safety norms.
• Implement quality control systems for material selection, workmanship, and system performance.
• Liaise with local authorities and ensure compliance with all necessary approvals and inspections.

Vendor & Budget Management:

• Assist in vendor finalization, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation for MEP works.
• Monitor budgets, manage cost controls, and ensure adherence to project timelines.

Commissioning & Handover:

• Supervise testing & commissioning and ensure documentation for all MEP services.
• Support the handover process with as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and training of hotel staff.
• System Handover to Hotel operation team with proper documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• 8–12 years of experience in MEP execution, with a minimum of 3–5 years in 5-star hotel projects
• Strong understanding and knowledge of hospitality standards
• Proven track record in project coordination, vendor management, and systems commissioning
