Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and self-driven Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee maintenance, machinery operations, and technical efficiency at our Muzaffarpur facility. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and project execution in a manufacturing/processing plant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise mechanical maintenance activities across the plant.

· Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance for machines, utility equipment, and material handling systems.

· Monitor performance and ensure minimal downtime of critical machinery.

· Lead installation and commissioning of new equipment.

· Manage maintenance records, AMC schedules, and inventory of spares.

· Coordinate with vendors, service teams, and internal departments for repair or upgrades.

· Ensure safety compliance and maintain documentation for audits.

· Provide technical support during inspections and machinery evaluations.

· Train junior technicians and fitters for mechanical tasks and SOPs.

Required Skills & Competencies:

· Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and utility equipment (boilers, compressors, etc.).

· Hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.

· Familiar with plant machinery used in food, dairy, pharma, or manufacturing industries.

· Ability to read engineering drawings and implement improvements.

· Leadership in managing a small maintenance team or contract workers.

· Good understanding of safety and statutory requirements related to machinery and utilities.

· Working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD (optional), and maintenance logs.

Qualifications:

• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in plant maintenance, fabrication, or utility management.

Pay: ₹25,538.33 - ₹64,498.26 per month
