Junior Accountant

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the overall accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with 1–2 years of experience looking to grow their career in accounting. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry, ledger postings, and bank reconciliations Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions accurately and timely Support month-end and year-end close processes Maintain and update fixed asset registers Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable Assist with internal and external audits Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 0–2 years of accounting or finance-related experience (internships included) Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills: Familiarity with ERP systems Knowledge of tax laws and regulations Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Working Conditions: Office-based role with standard working hours May require occasional overtime during closing periods Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Supplemental Pay: Commission pay Performance bonus Experience: Income tax return : 3 years (Required) Fluent English : 3 years (Required) Gst return : 3 years (Required) Finalization of account: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person
