Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our accounting team with daily financial tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and providing administrative support within the finance department. Key Responsibilities:Assist in data entry and maintenance of financial records. Help with the preparation of invoices and bills. Maintain records of accounts payable and receivable. Perform bank reconciliations and update cash books. Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries. Support GST, TDS, and tax-related documentation. Help with inventory records and purchase entries. File and organize financial documents properly. Coordinate with internal departments for financial data. Support the finance team during audits and monthly closing. Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field. 0–2 years of experience in a similar role. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and tax compliance. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, Excel). Good written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Skills:Strong time management and organizational abilities. Willingness to learn and take initiative. Ability to work as part of a team and under supervision.
