Jr. Engineer (Civil)

Position: Junior Site Engineer – Civil

Location: Goa (Prefer local resident)
Reporting To: Site Manager / Project Engineer / Senior Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision & Execution
• Assist in day-to-day supervision of construction activities.
• Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors on site.
• Planning & Coordination
• Support the planning and scheduling of work.
• Maintain site work progress reports and daily logs.
• Assist in preparing work schedules and tracking materials.
• Quality & Safety Monitoring
• Conduct checks to ensure quality control standards are being met.
• Monitor safety practices on site and report any non-compliance.
• Ensure proper usage of materials and prevent wastage.
• Measurement & Documentation
• Take site measurements and prepare reports accordingly.
• Assist in preparing bar bending schedules (BBS) and quantity estimates.
• Maintain records of site activities, inspection reports, and material logs.
• Liaison & Communication
• Act as a point of contact between site and office.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and clients.
• Participate in site meetings and provide updates to reporting engineer.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in construction or site supervision.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Understanding of construction methods, materials, and codes.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to site conditions.
