Java Backend Developer

Job Title: Java Backend Developer Location: Chennai Experience: 5–12 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and Web Services to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade backend applications and services. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications. Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and third-party services. Develop microservices-based architecture using Spring Boot. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code. Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design functional, cohesive code. Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and documentation. Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentorship. Required Skills: Strong proficiency in Java 8 and object-oriented programming. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture. Experience with REST APIs and Web Services. Good understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL). Familiarity with tools like Git, Maven/Gradle, and JIRA. Nice to Have: Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools. Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5–12 years of backend development experience.
