About the Role

The IT Manager will serve as the single point of contact for all IT-related matters within the ATS ELGI business unit. The role is responsible for managing IT infrastructure, applications, cloud services, and end-user support. They will ensure smooth daily IT operations and address any system or process gaps. The individual will lead and implement IT projects aligned with business needs. Maintaining IT security and ensuring audit compliance are key responsibilities. The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and the central IT team. The IT Manager will also drive digital transformation and infrastructure upgrades. Overall, the role ensures IT initiatives align with the organizations strategic objectives.

Role & responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end IT infrastructure

  servers, networks (switches, routers, Wi-Fi, VPN), and end-user systems, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Oversee cloud and application management

  user accounts, permissions, and administration of enterprise applications (Office 365, AWS/Azure).

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity practices

  endpoint protection, data security, backup, and disaster recovery in line with audit compliance.

• Act as the single point of contact for all IT matters within the ATS BU

  – troubleshooting complex IT issues (L2/L3) and ensuring minimal downtime.

• Coordinate with vendors and the central IT team

  – for service delivery, IT procurement, and technology upgrades.

• Contribute to IT projects and digital transformation initiatives

  – work with leadership and central IT to evaluate and implement technology solutions.

• Monitor IT performance and ensure audit readiness

  – maintain system documentation, licenses, and compliance reports.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements

  – recommend technology-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

  – certifications like CCNA, ITIL, or cloud certifications are desirable.

• 6+ years of IT operations experience

  in mid-to-large organizations (300+ employees), preferably in manufacturing or similar industries.

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management

  – servers, network administration, and hardware/software troubleshooting.

• Hands-on experience in cloud services (AWS/Azure) and enterprise applications (Office 365, Active Directory, IAM).

• Proficiency in cybersecurity practices

  – endpoint security, firewalls, VPNs, and disaster recovery.

• Exposure to IT project management & digital transformation initiatives

  – planning, execution, and vendor coordination.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

  – ability to independently manage BU-level IT operations.

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

  – to interact with business leaders and external vendors.
