Investment Analyst

Objective: To determine the financial and strategic viability of proposed projects through in-depth modeling, scenario planning, and risk analysis. Also responsible for preparing formal investment documentation. Key Responsibilities: Conduct feasibility studies combining technical, market, and financial inputs. Create and update financial models to assess project cost, revenue, EBITDA, IRR, and ROI. Structure and validate capital plans including equity, debt, and incentive schemes. Perform risk assessment including regulatory, market, and geopolitical risks. Lead due diligence efforts on locations, vendors, and business partners. Prepare and present Detailed Project Reports (DPR), TEV reports, and IC decks. Compile all data and inputs received from Market Research Analyst and Sourcing Analyst into a consolidated investment proposal. Support cross-functional team members in validating data and aligning with assumptions. Conduct financial benchmarking analysis of competitor firms (Indian, Chinese, global), including margins, EBIT, EBITDA, and Capex trends. Coordinate with consultants, government agencies, and internal stakeholders for project validation. May represent the company in government ministry follow-ups, consultant discussions, and investor presentations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, or economics; MBA or CA preferred. 2–3 years of experience in investment analysis, consulting, or corporate strategy.
