Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Interior Designer with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all phases of the design process, from concept development and space planning to material selection, detailed documentation, and project coordination. This role requires creativity, strong technical skills, and excellent communication abilities to work effectively with clients, contractors, and our internal team.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Collaboration:

• Conduct initial client consultations to understand their needs, preferences, budget, and project goals.
• Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes that align with client vision.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction.

Design Development & Documentation:

• Develop detailed space plans, furniture layouts, and 2D/3D renderings using relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max).
• Select and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), finishes, lighting, and accessories.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, sections, detailed drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Project Management & Coordination:

• Assist in creating and managing project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials and furnishings.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure design integrity, and address any issues that may arise.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for accuracy and adherence to design specifications.

Material Sourcing & Research:

• Stay updated on current design trends, materials, and product innovations.
• Source and evaluate new products and vendors.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with senior designers, architects, and other team members.
• Participate in team meetings and design reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably in [mention specific sector if applicable, e.g., residential, commercial, hospitality].
• Proficiency in design software, including:
• CAD Software: AutoCAD (essential)
• 3D Modeling & Rendering: SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape (proficiency in at least one is required, multiple preferred)
• Graphic Design: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, lighting design, and material applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Knowledge of local building codes and accessibility standards (a plus).
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
