cope Of Work* Primary Shared Across Functionally To study the Basic Engineering Design Document and other documents necessary to carry out further engineering activities To ensure that engineers and designers in his/ her team are aware of specific job requirements and to ensure that the departmental quality procedures are adopted consistently. Relationships Management* Internal External Interaction with multi-discipline LE’s and Project Team Interaction with Client / Vendors Key Result Areas* To perform and review/check engineering calculations, drawings and review Plant 3D models as required. Key Competencies Behavioral Need to Have Nice to Have Excellent Communication skills Leadership qualities Planning and Organizing Decision Making and Problem Solving Customer Focus Team work Innovative Thinking Technical Need to Have Nice to Have Should have sound fundamentals in Civil and structural engineering. Shall have hand-on experience in utilizing STAAD-Pro. Shall have necessary skills and knowledge to check design calculations and drawings for Foundation and structures. Working in integrated 3D environment including interface with other departments and vendors. Exposure to any one plant design system viz. PDS, PDMS or SP-3D is essential. Exposure to design of foundations / structures and other civil works such as pits/ponds for refinery/petrochemicals or power plants is required. Exposure to other design software such as Foundation-3D, Mat-3D, GTStruDl, SAP2000, ETABS etc. will be desirable. Show more Show less
