Promote and sell products or services directly at the counter. Build strong customer relationships and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities: Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly and respond to their inquiries. Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products. Provide product information, pricing, and warranties. Sales Handling: Process sales using POS systems or billing software. Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets. Upsell and cross-sell products where appropriate. Product Display & Inventory: Ensure shelves and displays are clean, organized, and well-stocked. Assist with stock inventory and report low-stock items. Tag products with prices and promotional materials. Payment and Billing: Handle cash, card, or digital payments securely. Issue receipts and manage returns/exchanges as per policy. Customer Feedback & Support: Address customer complaints or refer to a supervisor. Collect feedback and suggest improvements. Reporting: Maintain daily sales records and submit reports to the manager. Help analyze sales trends and customer preferences. Teamwork & Compliance: Coordinate with store staff for smooth operations. Follow company policies, safety standards, and cleanliness.
