Job Description

Job Summary:

Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue:

  • Lead a team of sales consultants to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Drive B2C sales of international tour packages (e.g., Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, etc.).
  • Monitor daily inquiries, leads, and conversions; ensure timely follow-ups and closures.
  • Design competitive travel itineraries in coordination with the Product and Operations team.
  • Maintain an updated knowledge of international destinations, visa norms, airlines, hotels, and suppliers.

Team Management:

  • Supervise, motivate, and train team members to enhance productivity and product knowledge.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement incentive programs.
  • Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure adherence to SOPs.
  • Address and resolve team escalations related to clients or operations.

Customer Service & Quality:

  • Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Handle key or high-value clients when necessary.
  • Review customer feedback and take corrective actions as needed.

Coordination & Reporting:

  • Work closely with Marketing, Visa, Ticketing, and Accounts teams for seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports and sales forecasts.
  • Maintain accuracy in quotations, POS remarks, and documentation.

Key Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in international tour package sales (minimum 4–6 years, 1–2 in a leadership role).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Destination knowledge across key outbound markets.
  • Working knowledge of GDS/CRS systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM and MS Office tools.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business.
  • Diploma/Certification in Travel & Tourism (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a holidays/travel company.

KPIs:

  • Sales target achievement (monthly/quarterly/yearly).
  • Conversion rate from leads.
  • Team performance and retention.
  • Customer satisfaction score 
  • Timely reporting and operational accuracy.
