Iksa is the AI operating layer for innovative Life Sciences organizations and Specialty Healthcare Providers to customize privacy-first agentic systems. Our leadership and core engineers have shipped together for years and keep the team deliberately small.

What you’ll do

• Design, train and iterate on agentic pipelines
• Build evaluation frameworks and tooling adopted across the engineering group
• Collaborate daily with physicians, ML engineers and data architects
• Document and share technical insights internally (and publicly when appropriate)

Must-have

• Strong Python plus mastery of at least one ML framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience shipping applied AI or data-intensive products
• Proficiency in architecting, evaluating and deploying AI systems end-to-end
• Ownership mindset and comfort with rapid iteration

Nice-to-have

• Prior exposure to healthcare data, standards or compliance constraints
• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation, property-graph modeling, vector databases, or agent orchestration

Success in six months

• A production-grade multi-agent pipeline integrated into our core platform
• Reusable tooling or documentation adopted by the wider team
• Measurable gains in system performance, latency, or reliability
