About the Role

CCTV manufacturing startup

Key Responsibilities

1. Factory Setup & Process Design

• Lead

  end-to-end setup

  of our CCTV manufacturing facility (SMT lines, assembly, testing, packaging).
• Design

  scalable production processes

  for cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and AI-enabled devices.
• Select and negotiate with

  equipment vendors

  (pick-and-place machines, AOI testers, lens calibration tools).

2. Production & Quality Control

• Achieve

  >95% production yield

  by implementing

  Six Sigma/Lean

  methodologies or other renowned industry standards
• Establish

  QC protocols

  for critical components (CMOS sensors, IR lenses, PCBAs).
• Ensure compliance with

  ISO 9001, IPC-A-610 (electronics assembly standards)

  .

3. Supply Chain & Cost Optimization

• Build a

  localized supply chain

  for key components (lenses, chipsets, housings) to reduce import dependency.
• Drive

  BOM cost reduction

  by 15–20% through value engineering and vendor consolidation.
• Implement

  JIT inventory

  to minimize working capital strain.

4. Team Leadership

• Recruit and train

  production engineers, technicians, and line supervisors

  .
• Foster a

  culture of innovation and continuous improvement

  in a startup environment.

5. Scalability & Automation

• Plan

  Phase 1 (manual/semi-automated)

  and

  Phase 2 (full automation)

  production scaling.
• Evaluate

  Industry 4.0 solutions

  (IoT-enabled machines, predictive maintenance).

Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Expertise

  :
• Deep knowledge of

  CCTV/electronics manufacturing

  (SMT, THT, firmware flashing).
• Experience with

  optical testing

  (low-light performance, focal length calibration).

• Operational Excellence

  :
• Proven track record in

  ramping up production

  (0→1M units/year).
• Familiarity with

  ERP/MES systems

• Startup Mindset

  :
• Ability to

  wear multiple hats

  (vendor negotiations, hiring, process documentation).
• Comfort with

  ambiguity and rapid iteration
