About the role

Infinity Innovation Labs,

These labs are spread across more than 20,000 sqft and are equipped with state-of-the-art machinery such as laser cutters, CNCs, lathe machines, automated SMT lines, etc. The vision is to enable product-building and prototyping for entrepreneurs solving for or from Tier 2, Tier 3, and rural India.

This role is ideal for someone who:

• Has built or led a hardware startup, or managed hardware labs in corporations or in a makerspace environment
• Is deeply excited about the hardware startup ecosystem in India and wants to see it grow
• Wants to modernize, optimize, and strategically position labs to be highly utilized and impactful
• Enjoys mentoring startups, managing teams, and building communities around hardware innovation

Key responsibilities

• Build programs to support prototyping, product development, and startup acceleration alongside 5–7 Lab staff
• Optimize operations, safety protocols, and workflows to maximize lab utilization
• Run structured training programs to churn industry-ready talent in hardware and manufacturing
• Make labs accessible to entrepreneurs from semi-urban and rural India
• Engage with corporate, academic, and public-sector partners for collaboration and co-creation

• First-principles thinking and strong technical problem-solving
• High ownership and drive to build from scratch
• Proven ability to operate labs or create hardware products
