Decadrives Pvt. Ltd., a DPIIT-recognized startup founded in 2021, specializes in composite manufacturing and product development for disabled and elderly individuals. Our mission is to promote education and research across mechanical, aerospace, automotive, marine, and transport engineering sectors through R&D, conferences, publications, and training programs. As a non-profit, we actively contribute to community projects and educational empowerment initiatives.

Position Overview:

We are seeking fresh engineering graduates (2024 & 2025 batch) to join our Graduate Apprenticeship Program under the NATS/BOAT scheme. The selected candidates will support ongoing R&D projects in composite materials, product development, and testing for aerospace and mobility applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in composite material testing, characterization, and analysis
• Support product design, development, and prototyping
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations
• Develop technical documentation and research reports
• Collaborate with research collaborators in Chennai, Coimbatore, Hosur and Bangalore
• Maintain a daily logbook and participate in regular project reviews

Qualifications:

• B.E/B.Tech in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or equivalent engineering disciplines
• Batch: Recent graduates (2022, 2023, 2024)
• Strong academic background with hands-on project experience

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of composite materials and testing methodologies
• Proficiency in CAD tools (Rhino3D, SolidWorks)
• FEA & CFD Analysis using Altair Hyperworks, Ansys
• Familiarity with ESAComp, Mathcad, and other engineering software
• Basic knowledge of drones and UAV systems
• Drone-related electrical systems understanding
• Experience in electrical assembly and wiring
• Knowledge of battery systems and power distribution
• Excellent problem-solving skills and technical writing abilities

Eligibility Criteria:

• Recent engineering graduates
• Preference will be given to candidates from Kalavai, Ranipet, Vellore, Cheyyar, and Chennai regions
• Willingness to travel for research collaboration and project assignments
• Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability to a start-up environment
