General Manager

Technical & Operational Responsibilities:

• Production Management
• Oversee entire forging and machining operations (Hot Forging/Closed Die/Open Die, CNC/VMC).
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices (5S, TPM, Kaizen).
• Ensure adherence to production plans, quality standards, and timely delivery.
• Maintenance & Asset Management
• Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for machinery, tools, dies, and utilities.
• Minimize breakdown time and maximize machine uptime.
• Quality Assurance
• Maintain quality certifications (ISO, IATF etc.).
• Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain strict control over raw material and process quality.
• Tool Room & Die Management
• Oversee die design, development, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with internal and external toolmakers for efficient die lifecycle management.
• Process Optimization
• Identify opportunities for cycle time reduction, cost savings, and scrap minimization.
• Lead technology upgradation and automation initiatives.

Commercial & Strategic Responsibilities:

• P&L & Cost Control
• Monitor budgets, reduce cost per component, and increase overall profitability.
• Ensure cost-effective procurement, material planning, and inventory control.
• Business Development
• Identify and develop new domestic & export customers.
• Work closely with marketing/sales to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
• Prepare pricing strategies and customer quotations.
• Vendor Development & Procurement
• Source quality raw materials (steel, alloy), forging dies, consumables at optimal cost.
• Build strong vendor networks for timely supply.
• Customer Relationship Management
• Build strong relationships with OEMs and tier-1 customers.
• Manage customer audits, visits, technical discussions, and complaints.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
